Cities across the region asking residents not to park on streets during blizzard

FARGO — Cities across eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota are taking steps to help plows clear snow.

Fargo Public Works is one of many asking people not to park on city streets during the blizzard.

Fargo Public Works Services Manager Paul Fiechtner said there are currently no plans to tow cars as a part of this request.

Grand Forks and Moorhead have both made similar street parking requests.

The City of East Grand Forks will be declaring a snow emergency to help their plows starting April 5, just after midnight.
