ARLINGTON — Rangers outfielder Leody Taveras took batting practice from both sides of the plate for the second consecutive day as he inches closer to returning from an oblique strain that forced him to open the season on the IL. Taveras, a switch-hitter, has been swinging from the left side for more than a week, but had not swung at “live” pitching from the right side since his March 3 injury.
